RESEARCH FEES:
All research provided online is free. Charges only apply for extensive, custom requests.

PROJECT & LICENSE FEES:
Clients are billed a minimum project fee upon upload of a clean digital master. License (or usage) fees are based on the actual amount of footage ordered. A discount for quantity usage is available.

LICENSE MINIMUMS:
A minimum charge of 5 seconds per cut applies for all commercial, promotional, music video, and feature film projects. A 10 second or $3,500 minimum (whichever is greater) applies to all custom licensing requests. For lower budget projects please visit our licensing page on the Pond5 platform.

All footage is billed at the rate(s) cited in the rates section below, whether the full frame, soundtrack or any portion or modification of the footage supplied is used, including slowed, partial frame, and repeated footage.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS:
Clients must email a written purchase order or formal company request for all research and final footage orders. All charges are due in advance for first-time clients and within 30 days of invoice for established clients. All licensing grants nonexclusive rights to use the footage unless otherwise negotiated. Footage can only be used in the contracted project.

All of the standard rates below are listed on a “per second” basis for 2024.

-Feature film (wide release): $350

-Feature Film (film festival only): $150

-Feature Documentary: $200

-Feature Documentary (film festival only): $100

-Network TV: $300

-Commercials (USA): $350

-Commercials (Worldwide): $400

-Commercials (Worldwide, Internet Only): $300

-Music Video: $150

Please note: Rates are subject to change. Please email to verify footage availability, as not all footage is available for licensing. For 35mm footage add $50 per second to the rates listed above.
